Camping Pitches

Camping Pitches

  • We like to make sure everyone has plenty of space.  There is between 10 and 20 metres between you and your closest neighbour.  Of course there is nothing to stop you sitting together if you are part of a group.

  • We like to think that the loos are close enough but far enough.

If you’re camping in the woodland, the loos are 30 to 60 metres away depending on your pitch. Our Glamping Pods around the wildlife pond are 40 to 60 metres from the block. If you’re camping in the field, it’s about 100 metres.

  • Huge, bring your Eden Project! We’ve walked each of our four field pitches with a measuring wheel, and they come in at approximately 14 metres wide by 40 metres deep.

  • Not usually, we allocate pitches based on availability nearer the time. But we’ll always do our best to keep groups together and take your preferences into account where we can.

  • Camping in British weather is part of the adventure, but we know a washout can be disappointing. Our standard cancellation terms apply here too, so we’re not able to offer refunds for last-minute cancellations or cutting a stay short, whatever the forecast does. If you’d rather not leave it to chance, our Classic and Deluxe Glamping Pods are a warm, dry alternative to a tent, and a popular choice when the forecast looks changeable.

  • We’re really proud of our clean and well-kept toilet and shower facilities.  We have flushing toilets (rather than the compost variety).  There is a block in the area between the wildlife pond and the field camping pitches and other in the woodland camping spot, each with a single toilet and a shower room with a toilet. The shower room is large enough for parents to share the space with kids.  There’s always plenty of hot water and good water pressure, and we check the blocks regularly to keep everything fresh. They’re shared between guests but not crowded, and most people comment on how spotless they are.

  • Yes. We have a great washing-up area with piping hot water, and we keep it topped up with washing-up liquid and sponges for guests to use. The area is under cover, so even on wet days you won’t have rain dripping down your neck while you do the dishes.

  • Yes, you can add campfire logs to your booking. Campfire logs are £6 per net.  But if you forget or want more during your stay, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!  We’ve got an on site log store honesty shop.

  • Yes. It’s a lovely countryside walk to Red Lion at Revesby about 4.5km/2.8 miles and just under an hour at a comfortable pace. Around 80% of the route is on tarmac or hard track, and trainers are fine even after wet weather. The route avoids the fast B1183/Boston Road, which has no pavement. At the very end, cross the A155 where there’s a pavement on the other side

You can follow our suggested route on Strava here

  • Each pitch is for one tent only.  If you’re camping with friends or family in separate tents, you’ll need to book one pitch per unit. This keeps the site peaceful and ensures everyone has enough space.  We will always do our best that your pitches are next to one another.
