What are the toilets and showers like?

We’re really proud of our clean and well-kept toilet and shower facilities. We have flushing toilets (rather than the compost variety). There are two blocks on site, each with a single toilet and a shower room with a toilet. The shower room is large enough for parents to share the space with kids. There’s always plenty of hot water and good water pressure, and we check the blocks regularly to keep everything fresh. They’re shared between guests but not crowded, and most people comment on how spotless they are.

Is there a washing-up area?

Yes. We have a great washing-up area with piping hot water, and we keep it topped up with washing-up liquid and sponges for guests to use. The area is under cover, so even on wet days you won’t have rain dripping down your neck while you do the dishes.

What is a Caravan and Motorhome Club Certified Location (CL)?

Certified Locations (CL) are open solely to Caravan and Motorhome Club members operated by private owners and are restricted to 5 pitches. John and Jane have been members of CAMC for over 40 years! CL sites can be an affordable and unique alternative to larger commercial sites, often providing a more secluded and "back to nature" caravanning experience.

How many vans are on the Caravan and Motorhome Club CL?

The CL is limited to 5 pitches. We have a 2.5 acre field so you'll have plenty of space.

Do I need to be a CAMC member to stay?

Yes, you need to be a member of the Caravan and Motorhome Club in order to stay at the CL.

What rubbish disposal facilities are available?

We can only accept general waste generated during your stay. Please take larger items home with you, such as broken camping chairs, airbeds or other bulky rubbish, as we don’t have facilities to dispose of these on site. Commercial waste collection is surprisingly expensive, and by keeping it to general household waste only, we can keep our running costs and our prices as low as possible for everyone.

What are your quiet hours?

We operate a quiet policy and ask that you keep noise to a minimum between 10pm and 7am. Please keep noise to a level so that it cannot be heard by your neighbours.

Can I order campfire logs in advance?

Yes, you can add campfire logs to your booking. Campfire logs are £6 per net. But if you forget or want more during your stay, don't worry, we've got you covered! We've got an on site log store honesty shop.

What should I pack for my stay?

It depends a little on the season and whether you’re camping or glamping, but a few essentials always make your stay more comfortable. Think layers for the evenings, waterproofs for exploring, and sturdy shoes for the fields. We’ve put together a handy Camping Packing List to help you remember everything, from torches and towels to marshmallows for the campfire.

How far is it to the nearest shop?

The nearest shop is the small Sainsbury’s in Spilsby, about 10 minutes’ drive from the site. For a bigger choice of supermarkets or any emergency camping supplies, Boston is the best option and around 25 minutes away
