What our customers say
EXCELLENT Based on 56 reviews Rebecca S2025-04-15Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Second time staying at New Farm Holidays, Stickney. Both my boyfriend & I are local yellowbellies but as is so often the case, you don't get to appreciate the beauty of your own county until you get out there & live it. We are both in agreement that New Farm Holidays is a bit of a hidden gem of a place. Off the beaten track. Lovely, peaceful location with plenty of wildlife all around: We saw Hares, Muntjac (& a much larger deer running obscured a little by the trees- v.possibly a red deer) Curlew, Heron, Blue tits, Long tailed tits & heard Chiff Chaff. The Cows at the farm nearby a big plus for me too ❤️ Our Cabin (Cabin 5) was very well distanced away from the other campers & had pretty much everything you need. A comfy double bed, fitted lights. kettle, cutlery & cooking equipment for using on the fabulous camp fire & grill - proper camping! Drinking water on tap at the side of the cabin & fridge/freezer too. We took extra bags with us this time so we could filter through any compostables, recyclables (both of which we took back with us) & rubbish as we try to be as eco friendly as possible - though I think my boyfriend lost my sunglasses somewhere on the way whilst packing the car 🤦♀️ so if anyone sees a cool looking Muntjac wandering around you'll know why 🤣 Can't wait to stay here again & next time a longer stay hopefully. It was a an amazing experience for my children who love camping but never camped in a woodland before. Climbing trees, making dens and roasting marshmallows on the open campfire all the things I used to do as a child but kids now a days don't seem to be interested in. The size of each pitch was ample for a good size family tent with a safe area for the children to play and make new friends. Along with the electric hook up and shower/ toilet cabin which was spotless with hot running water to help clean the dishes out side. I would highly recommend it for anyone who would like to experience or enjoys wild camping. We will definitely be going again next year during the summer. Thanks for some great memories guys... What a beautiful site, we stayed on a woodland forest floor pitch and it had a personal picnic bench, a firepit, electric and a tap (that you don't have to walk to). The grounds are amazing, and well looked after, the place has been well thought out. The woodland enters onto a bridle path and a canal the owners are super helpful and keep the facilities clean and replenished they also provide fire wood for £5 a bag. Dosent have a 'park' as such for kids but after a day spent in Skegness (40 mins away) it is so peaceful and tranquil the woods and nature is all you need. The shower is good it is not a push button, water comes hot very quick. There aren't many fish and chips shops near by we arrived on a Monday and it was closed and so was the takeaway nearby (that was advertised on Google as being open) which was not an issue but it's a 25 min drive to Aldi in Boston which we did as we didn't have any more room in the car for food with camping gear so wanted to get something quick. The local shop shuts at 6pm. What I'm trying to say is to go prepared as the location is rural but I guess that's the idea being out the way. The farm track off the main road is very bumpy with loose rocks but not unbearable however I would say not suitable for very low profile cars. We would be very happy to return they also have glamping pods which are heated which is tempting my return sooner than the tent as it is coming to the end of the nice weather!! 5⭐ I was so worried as when I got the extremely helpful text the day before my stay with the welcome guide it said that the car park was 80m away from pitch and wheelbarrows were provided to help move kit. With a dog and a 2 year old I was so worried as the car and roof box were rammed full, however the walk is short, manageable and we really had so much fun even if we did have to make lots of trips because my son kept wanting a ride in the wheelbarrow. Another selling point for my return is that next to woodland floor pitch 6 is a glamping pod. This means that my parents for example(who no longer wish to camp on an air bed) could accompany our stay by booking the cabin which has it's own double bed etc. but even if you weren't able to get the exact pitch next to them, whilst being well spaced out they are all around in a circle shape. sarah stevenson-holt2024-09-01Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Really nice place to relax and unwind. Beautiful setting , Thankyou Maddie Austen2024-08-30Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Perfect relaxing stay, when faced with an issue the owners were very happy to help and didn’t hesitate, and also provided us with very good takeaway advice during our stay. The pod was very well equipped to suit our needs and was absolutely perfect. Michelle Faulkner2024-08-29Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had a lovely stay here. Carolyn was so helpful and it was reassuring to know there was someone willing to help (even when we needed to change part of the booking). The site was lovely, the pitches were big and relatively private (we stayed in the woodlands area), the pitches were hard standing which was great in some respects but make sure you bring some cushioned flooring for inside the tent to protect your knees! Loads of open space for the children to run around and explore, so smiling faces all around. Toilets and facilities were clean and accessible. Looking forward to coming back for our next camping trip soon! Marielle Volz2024-08-20Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Stayed in the stargazing field pitch to view the Perseids meteor shower, which it was perfect for; exactly the right part of the sky visible. Abutted the woods which was great as the kids enjoyed traipsing around them. Between the four of us we startled two deer. In the morning the grazing lambs in the adjoining field visited us. Lovely stay. Karen Franks2024-08-19Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent campsite! Plenty of room on the fields to spread out! Great communication with owners before and during stay. dave gill2024-08-15Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great site that's is more like a wild camp set up than commercial, each area has a wash block with 2 sinks for dishes, 1 shower/ toilet and a toilet, only 4/5 pitches share this so normally ok but you may have to wait at peak times for shower. You'll find the odd bug in there but like I said it's more like a wild camp with ehu. RAF Coningsby is only a few miles away so you'll hear the jets and you can see them from places too which I loved 😊 Hollie McClimens2024-08-11Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This is a GORGEOUS campsite! It’s a small site, with lovely woodland pitches which are nicely separated from one another by trees. Each pitch has a fire pit and picnic bench provided, alongside EHU and a water tap. Large bags of wood for the fire are just £5, and there’s an honesty box for more wood if needed. The communication from the owners is absolutely fantastic, they send out a really useful guide with everything you need to know, from directions, to the what to do on arrival/departure and things to do in the local area. We didn’t see the owners at all, but we didn’t need to as we knew everything we needed to know before arrival. The facilities are spotless, water hot and dish soap and sponges provided for washing up too. Honestly can’t fault this place, it’s a peaceful, relaxing hidden gem and we will likely return!
