Are there any restaurants or pubs nearby?

You won’t have to go far to enjoy a delicious meal! There’s an Indian takeaway right next to the shop, offering delivery to your caravan. Alternatively, two pubs within walking distance serve food and boast award-winning local beers. The Angel pub is dog-friendly and offers a popular Steak Night on Wednesdays.

Where can I find groceries and amenities near the CL?

Within a short walking distance, you’ll find a well-stocked local shop and post office open from 7 am to 8 pm, perfect for everyday essentials. A butcher’s counter is also coming soon! Additionally, a Co-Op supermarket and post office is located just a mile away.

Are there toilet and shower facilities on-site at your CL?

Our CL site is designed for a more self-contained camping experience and does not have toilet or shower blocks on-site. However, there are convenient facilities nearby to meet your needs.

Do you allow dogs within the CL site?

Absolutely! New Farm Holidays is a dog-friendly site. We just ask that you keep your furry friend on a lead and ensure they respect other guests and any livestock in adjacent fields. Please review our doggy rules before your visit for a smooth stay for everyone.

When is the CL open?

We are open from the beginning of March until the end of October.

When is the deadline to order Campfire Catering?

Since delivery slots are limited, we recommend booking your campfire catering as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Contact Danielle directly to confirm lead time and availability for your desired date.

Can I customise my Campfire Catering options?

Unfortunately, Scones & Roses does not offer customisation of their set menus at this time. However, you can contact Danielleto discuss any allergies or dietary restrictions.

How do I order campfire catering?

To place your order, contact Danielle directly on her Scones & Roses Facebook page. Be sure to mention your preferred delivery date and time at New Farm Holidays. Delivery slots are limited, so book early!

How much does Campfire Catering cost?

Prices vary depending on the option you choose. The Classic Afternoon Tea starts at £10.95 per person, while graze boxes and brunch options range from £24.95 to £34.95 for two people. A kid’s box is £8.50 per child.

What kind of food does Scones & Roses offer?

Scones & Roses offers a variety of catering options that are perfect for a campfire gathering. They have delightful afternoon teas, Berry Brunches, graze boxes with sweet and savoury selections, and even a special kid-friendly box.

I want to book Field Camping, can I bring my dog?

Absolutely! Well-behaved dogs are welcome in our field camping area. Please be sure to review our doggy rules before your visit to ensure everyone has a comfortable stay.

What are the Field Camping check-in and check-out times?

Your field camping pitch will be available for check-in from 2 pm on the day of your arrival and must be vacated by 10.30 am on your departure day.

How much does Field Camping cost?

Field camping costs £22 per night for four people, plus £3.50 per night for each additional person over the age of 2.

Is electricity included in the Field Camping pitch price?

The field camping pitches are designed for a more traditional camping experience and do not have electric hook-up. However, we do offer free Wi-Fi throughout the campsite.

What are the check-in and check-out times for Woodland Camping?

Your woodland camping pitch will be available for check-in from 2 pm on the day of your arrival and must be vacated by 10.30 am on your departure day.

How much does Woodland Camping cost?

The price for woodland camping starts from £30 per night for four people.
There’s an additional charge of £3.50 per night for each additional person over the age of 2.

Can I have a campfire?

Yes, campfires are permitted in designated fire pits within your pitch. Firewood is not included, but you can purchase fire logs for £5 per net at our reception.

Is electricity included with Woodland Camping pitches?

Yes, all our woodland camping pitches include electric hook-ups, which are perfect for powering lights, small appliances, and phone chargers.

What size are the Woodland Camping pitches?

Our woodland camping pitches are a generous 8 meters long by 5 meters wide, providing ample space for your tent, car, and outdoor furniture.

Do the pitches have Wi-Fi?

Yes, we offer free Wi-Fi throughout the campsite, including our woodland camping area, allowing you to stay connected during your stay.

I want to book Woodland Camping, can I bring my dog?

Absolutely! Well-behaved dogs are welcome in our woodland camping area. Please be sure to review our dog rules before your visit to ensure a comfortable stay for everyone.

I want to book the Deluxe En-Suite Pod – can I bring my dog?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate dogs in our deluxe en-suite pods to ensure a comfortable and pet-free environment for all guests.

How much does a Classic Camping Pod cost per night?

Our Camping Pod prices are £55 per night, offering a comfortable and affordable camping experience.

I want to book a Classic Pod, can I bring my dog?

Absolutely! We welcome furry friends for an additional £5 per stay. Please be sure to review our doggy rules before your visit.

Please note that Dogs are not permitted in the Deluxe En-Suite Pods to ensure a comfortable and pet-free environment for all guests.

What’s included with the Deluxe En-Suite Pod firepit?

The deluxe pod comes with a firepit and a grill to cook over the fire, but firewood is not included. You can purchase fire logs for £5 per net at our reception.

Is smoking allowed in your Deluxe En-Suite Glamping Pod?

No, smoking is strictly prohibited inside all of our glamping pods, including the deluxe en-suite pods.

How much does a Deluxe En-Suite cost per night?

The price of our deluxe en-suite pod varies depending on the season:

  • Low Season: From £80 per night
  • High Season (School Holidays): £95 per night
What are the Deluxe Camping Pod check-in and check-out times?

Do I need to bring bedding?

Yes, you’ll need to bring all your own bedding for your stay in the pod, including pillows, blankets, and sleeping bags.

What about site safety?

For your safety, please remember:

  • Our campsite borders a working farm.
  • A public footpath runs alongside the farmyard, so please stay on the path.
  • Tractors have the right of way and may have limited visibility.
  • Avoid climbing on hay or straw bales.
Can I book for a group?

Yes! Our campsite is perfect for group getaways and family reunions. We offer group booking options and details on reserving multiple units or the entire site. Check our booking page for more information, or contact Carolyn to discuss your needs.

What are your opening seasons?

The deluxe pod is available year-round. All other camping options are available from early April to the end of October. Contact us for inquiries outside this period.

Do the pods have electricity?

Yes! We have mains electricity installed since 2017, providing lighting, heating, and charging points in the pods. However, we’ve maintained our natural ambience, so you can enjoy stargazing without light pollution. Just remember to bring a torch to navigate the campsite at night.

Can I bring my own firewood?

Yes, you’re welcome to bring your own logs. However, please avoid collecting firewood from our woodland. This green wood burns poorly and provides a vital habitat for wildlife.

Can I have a campfire?

Absolutely! Each pitch and pod comes with a designated campfire area. We offer large bags of logs with kindling and fire lighters for £5 each. One bag typically lasts 1-2 nights, depending on usage.

Is there a minimum stay requirement?

Yes, there’s a minimum stay of two nights for all bookings except Bank Holiday weekends, which require a three-night minimum.

How much does it cost to camp?

The price varies depending on your accommodation choice:

  • Family Pod (sleeps 4): £55 per night
  • Deluxe En-Suite Pod (sleeps 4): £95 per night
  • Field Camping Pitches: from £22 per night
  • Woodland Camping Pitches: from £30 per night
What can I hire on-site?

We offer fire logs for campfires (£5 per bag) and 40-liter camping fridges (£2.50 per night) for your convenience.

I see the camping pods are near a pond – is it safe to swim in?

While our pond is a beautiful feature of the campsite, swimming is not permitted for safety reasons. We do, however, have plenty of other ways to enjoy the outdoors on our farm, including nature walks, exploring the woodland area, or simply relaxing by the pond and taking in the scenery.

Will cows trample my tent at night?

Rest assured, your safety and comfort are our top priorities. Our campsite and CL are separate from the fields where our livestock graze. You can relax and enjoy your stay without any worries about wandering cows.

Is New Farm Holidays a working farm?

Absolutely! Our family has been farming the land at New Farm Organics since the 1700s. Today, we’re a certified organic farm producing delicious and wholesome cereals, vegetables, and beef. You might even be lucky enough to see some of our farm animals during your stay!
