Let us help you with your camping packing list. Are you packing for a camping trip?

Having a holiday is supposed to be relaxing. But the stress of preparing to go away means you need two holidays to recover!

Here is a list of our camping essentials. I hope our checklist will take away some of your packing pain.

Camping Packing List Essentials

  • Sleeping bag or duvet
  • Self inflating mattress, camp or air bed
  • Pillow
  • Table and chairs, comfy camping chair
  • Lanterns, torches, headtorch and batteries
  • Lighter and matches
  • Spare batteries and bulbs
  • Washbag and toothbrush
  • Towels
  • First aid kit
  • Loo roll!

Food Preparation

  • Food, breakfast essentials
  • Something to cook on/over
  • Fuel for cooking
  • Tin Opener
  • Corkscrew and bottle opener
  • Coolbox and ice packs
  • Saucepans, frying pans and lids
  • Bin liners
  • Kitchen roll
  • Cooking oil
  • Mugs, cups and glasses
  • Plates and bowls
  • Sharp knives and a pair of scissors
  • Cutlery
  • Dishcloth
  • Washing up bowl and liquid
  • Tea towels
  • Aluminium foil
  • Tea, coffee, milk and sugar
  • Beer and wine, squash for the kids
  • Tomato sauce

Miscellaneous camping items

  • A good book
  • Pack of card, Uno
  • Colouring for the kids
  • Mobile phone and charger
